About the Role
We’re hiring a Director of Implementation to lead and scale a team of architects and design professionals responsible for customer onboarding and implementation delivery.
This role reports into the senior leader overseeing customer adoption and plays a critical role in transforming implementation from a bespoke, project-by-project effort into a repeatable, efficient, and scalable operation. You’ll own execution, process design, team performance, and cross-functional alignment as customers transition from legacy design tools into a modern, data-centric platform.
What You’ll Do
Lead Implementation Delivery
Own day-to-day execution of customer implementations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at a high quality bar
Oversee the transition of customers from traditional architectural design tools and workflows into a new platform
Act as the senior escalation point for complex delivery or technical challenges
Build Scalable Processes
Design and operationalize a standardized implementation methodology, including playbooks, documentation, and best practices
Reduce variability and dependency on individual contributors by building repeatable systems and workflows
Continuously identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities across the implementation lifecycle
Develop and Lead the Team
Recruit, hire, onboard, and manage a team of architects and design specialists
Set clear expectations, performance standards, and growth paths
Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
Own Metrics and Performance
Define and track KPIs related to throughput, cycle time, quality, and utilization
Use data to inform staffing, prioritization, and process decisions
Report on team performance and implementation health to senior leadership
Partner Cross-Functionally
Work closely with customer adoption leadership to align delivery with business goals
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to surface customer insights and implementation-driven feedback
Advocate for operational needs and customer realities in platform evolution discussions
What You’ll Bring
Experience & Background
10+ years in implementation, professional services, or delivery roles within AEC, BIM, or construction technology
Experience supporting customers through complex workflow or platform transitions
Background working with architectural design systems and production modeling workflows
People Leadership
3–5+ years leading technical or design-focused teams
Direct experience hiring, developing, and managing senior individual contributors
Comfortable balancing hands-on problem solving with leadership and delegation
Operational Strength
Proven ability to build and scale repeatable delivery processes
Strong project and program management instincts
Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
Technical & Analytical Mindset
Deep understanding of the challenges inherent in legacy design tools and manual workflows
Data-driven approach to managing performance and driving efficiency
Strong problem-framing and root-cause analysis skills

Salary Range
$175,000 - $190,000
