Senior Technical UX/UI Designer - BuildFactory (Remote)
About BuildFactory
We’re BuildFactory: the venture-backed AI-powered, SaaS-enabled marketplace revolutionizing construction. Our platform connects design, procurement, off-site construction, logistics, and field construction teams, democratizing the supply chain with agentic AI to significantly enhance productivity, reduce risk, and optimize resource management.
About the Role
We’re building a product that feels like it was designed by Apple, not Autodesk.
This is not a UX cleanup job. We’re reimagining how real builders: fabricators, project managers, field supers should interact with software that actually helps them work faster, smarter, and with less stress.
We need someone who can not only design beautiful, intuitive flows, but prototype them, sweat the details, and push beyond the obvious.

What You’ll Do
Own the product experience end-to-end: design system, user flow, interaction, and interface
Create stunning, usable UIs in Figma or Lovable and bring them to life using tools like Tailwind, React, or whatever makes sense
Invent and prototype new interaction models
Reduce complexity for users in construction who never wanted technology in the first place
Collaborate with engineers and AI leads to deliver magic, not just features
Do Not Apply Unless…
You are amazing at UX and UI. Your portfolio should show that immediately
You have designed and shipped full product experiences, not just pretty pages or marketing fluff
You understand how to make software feel fast, clear, and delightful
You can code enough to build your own prototype (or can use AI tools like Lovable proficiently)
You can do the user research to tell you what good is AND you already know it in your bones
Why Join Now
We’re early. We’re backed. We’re shipping.
This is your chance to set the standard for how great software should feel in one of the world’s most underserved industries.
Location: Fully Remote, US
