BIM Manager II - ICON (Austin, TX)
ICON is seeking a BIM Manager to join our Design-Build team. This role will lead the development and implementation of BIM strategy, standards, and workflows that bridge conventional design practices with ICON's revolutionary 3D printing construction technology. The BIM Manager will oversee model coordination across multidisciplinary teams, manage BIM content libraries, and serve as the primary liaison between design, technology, and construction teams to deliver innovative printed building solutions.
You will establish the BIM infrastructure and processes that enable ICON to deliver high-performance 3D-printed buildings across residential, commercial, and government sectors. As an ICONIC, you will be an industry leader developing entirely novel approaches to digital construction workflows, integrating design-to-print processes with traditional AEC practices. You will have the opportunity to advance humankind's ability to provide dignified, affordable, resilient, and sustainable shelter to the world. This role is based on ICON's Austin, TX campus and reports to the Director, Principal Architect.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEP), organizational standards, protocols, and workflows that accommodate both conventional construction documentation and ICON's unique 3D printing requirements
Establish Level of Development (LOD) requirements and information exchange processes tailored to printed construction systems (Vulcan, Titan wall systems)
Create and enforce BIM standards, project templates, shared parameters, naming conventions, and family classification systems across architecture, structure, and MEP disciplines
