Job Summary
The Wayfinding Designer will be responsible for assisting the Manager of Graphics and Wayfinding in the design and production of the MBTA Universal Wayfinding Program. The focus of this program is on the development and integration of a user-friendly and ADA-compliant navigation system throughout the MBTA, supporting the broader mission of the Customer Experience and System-Wide Accessibility Departments to create safe, dependable, and inclusive public transportation. Under the direction of the Manager of Graphics & Wayfinding, the Wayfinding Designer will carry out environmental graphic design standards, permanent and temporary station signage, and related tasks in compliance with the requirements of the Boston Center for Independent Living Lawsuit Settlement.

Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for oversight and coordination of specific station wayfinding projects that includes maintaining quality control of standards.
Support Manager of Graphics and Wayfinding and instruct Associate Wayfinding Designers on the technical production of working files, signage artwork, signage layouts, and schedules.
