About this Role
Design sits at the center of everything we do. This is an opportunity to create (or really invent) the first consumer experiences of Web3. Visual Design at our company is about leveraging this unique point in internet history to scale crypto experiences to millions of internet users.
At this company our team will rely on you to lead brand, communications, and visual language as we onboard creators, developers, musicians, artists, gamers and other members of our community to the world of NFTs. You’ll be equal parts visual design and creative director. As a lead on our team, you’ll engage with our VIP partners in music, gaming, and media and manage visual design contractors on a day-to-day basis.
What You'll Do
Head up brand, communications, and visual language through cross-functional collaboration with Product, Marketing, Content, Social, and Business teams.
Lead process for visual design, including design guidelines, iconography, landing pages, email templates, social content, events, launch announcements and more.
Partner with VIP partners for special projects including groundbreaking NFT concepts for events, gaming, and music.
Advocate for our users and their needs and push for superior design outcomes.
Provide visual design strategy and perspective on how to grow awareness and adoption of NFTs for millions of users.
Foster an inclusive design culture that extends to our community and ecosystem at large.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in Visual Design roles with exposure to direct-to-consumer products.
Expertise in developing and delivering brand and communications, design guidelines, iconography, landing pages, emails, social content, and campaign materials.
Demonstrated ability to understand a target audience and strategically craft highly effective visual artifacts that resonate with them.
High level of attention to detail. Able to consider the overall themes of a visual design system, as well as the micro-details that make it stand out.
Able to articulate and preserve the core brand essence while also pushing creative boundaries with it's representation and use.
Clear communication and organization skills. Able to handle multiple workstreams and deadlines, keeping key partners updated and managing your own workload.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Comfortable with moving fast at a startup, prioritizing and delivering designs quickly.
Grow and foster design culture
Bonus Points for…
Expertise in animation, illustration, and photo shoots - because our product is highly visual (ie, NFTs).
Experience partnering closely with and/or managing contractors or agencies.
