Hexagon Multivista t is looking for a skilled VDC Technology Manager to join us to support and coordinate the Technology Systems implementation efforts.
In this role, the VDC Technology Manager will significantly support the Unit Director and Program Manager by delivering innovative technology insights and guidance to senior management, while offering technical expertise across the company to both internal and external stakeholders. This position collaborates closely with other teams to assess, review, and test new software applications and cloud platforms, ensuring all hardware and software requests meet standards for functionality, compatibility, and security.

JOB DUTIES
Services to be performed by the candidate may include, but are not limited to the following:
Manage inventory of Engineering hardware and software assets
Support network infrastructure operations and maintenance
Maintain existing systems and applications
Manage Microsoft Azure storage for project data archiving
Assist the Virtual Design Construction (VDC) team with project data management systems
Customize Bluebeam Studio sessions for project reviews
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and support engineering applications (e.g., Bluebeam, Autodesk, Leica, ArcGIS)
Coordinate software deployments, updates, and system customization
Evaluate new engineering technologies and provide recommendations
Track software/hardware inventory and optimize license usage
Assist with contract renewals, budgeting, and monthly spend monitoring
Maintain system documentation and deliver staff training/onboarding
Troubleshoot application issues and implement minor improvements
Participate in client and internal meetings to gather requirements and share updates
Deliver internal training sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops
Collaborate with senior management on strategy and application planning
Plan, prioritize, and coordinate tasks across projects and teams
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Required Education and Technical Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architectural, Engineering or related degree.
Live in NY/NJ or willing to relocate to this area.
5+ years supporting and implementing Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) tools and software across projects
Ability to analyze systems and generate software usage and license reports
Familiarity with Azure cloud technologies and data storage
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Power BI for reporting and visualization
Advanced skills in PDF tools (Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam Revu) for document workflows
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
