We are seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead and manage the creation of new technology products for Veev using the product life cycle (PLC) methodology. At Veev, we’re reinventing the way homes are built and experienced while working together to solve housing shortages around the world. Our innovative technology allows rapid deployment while using the highest quality materials selected for smart and healthy living in mind. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skills, education, experience, and location is $145,000 - $160,000

In this role, you will manage the end-to-end development (from concept to released production) of the different technological building blocks into the company products catalog, making sure we hit our aggressive schedule and target cost. To be successful in this role, you should exhibit strong program management skills, robust leadership skills, and the ability to work in an ambiguous environment. A background as a Product Life Cycle (PLC) management, program schedule control, technical-oriented, hands-on, in related industries is critical.

In this Role, You Will:

  • Lead and manage product development using PLC methodology

  • Develop and manage top-down schedule per the business demand and product roadmap

  • Plan and execute the bottom-up program schedule based on technical challenges and inputs from the cross-functional teams

  • Report to leadership team using dashboard for clear milestones and visibility into program status as well as risks and mitigations

  • Manage communications between the different teams such as Product, Engineering, BIM, PLM & configuration control and Operations

  • Work cross-functionally to implement best practices and development processes, in a quickly changing and dynamic environment

  • Identify constraints, dependencies, risks/issues, to deliver Veev building block construction projects on time and within the budget

  • Identify resources needed and work closely with the team leads to maintain full visibility of multiple projects, ensuring resource gaps are prioritized and addressed efficiently

Requirements, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent practical experience

  • 5+ years experience as a Program Manager/Equivalent, managing the product development from inception to production.

  • Familiar with Product Life Cycle methodology in product development

  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and management

  • Experience building relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams

Nice to Haves - Advantages:

  • Experience in the prefab construction industry

  • Familiar with CAD, CAM systems and processes

  • Familiar with BIM360, Revit, Solid works, or Arena PLM

  • Familiar withMonday.comprogram management

  • Experience working with international team members

Compensation:

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skills, education, experience, and location is $145,000 - $160,000 annually for Hayward, CA and surrounding areas. This role is also eligible for stock options, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, flexible paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
