About this Position:
In this role, we're looking for a sustainability all-star with direct experience supporting sustainability initiatives in the built environment. The Senior PM will support Parallel’s clients as their contracted sustainability staff and/or team to help them achieve their sustainability goals, expand their business opportunities through sustainability, and reduce their environmental, human health, and social health impact. The Senior PM will be responsible for executing the Client’s ‘Sustainability Action Plan’ (e.g., manage and delivery quality technical, marketing, and/or strategic tasks), maintaining and expanding the client relationship(s), and managing their assigned Parallel project team, all within project budget.
We are looking for an experienced project manager who is organized, flexible, passionate, and a team player with prior knowledge of sustainability in the built environment. This person should already be familiar with various sustainability ecolabels/standards (e.g., HPDs, Declare Labels, C2C, LCA/EPDs, etc.), carbon reporting (scope 1, 2, and 3), SBTi, circular economy, mindful MATERIALs, etc. While Parallel’s client-base is primarily building product manufacturers, this role should have a basic understanding of sustainability also from the end user’s perspective (e.g., architects and designers, general contractors, building owners, etc.).
