Role Description
The Senior Associate Scenic Designer is a contract, combination remote and on-site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This role supports the development of scenic concepts from initial sketches to bid-ready designs, collaborating closely with the creative director, head designer, and production partners.
The Senior Associate Scenic Designer participates in design reviews, incorporates feedback, and helps ensure that scenic elements align with artistic vision, budget, and schedule. The role also involves occasional on-site visits to shops, theaters, and venues to review fabrication and installations.

Required Qualifications
Expert Vectorworks (2D and 3D) skills across all phases of design — concept, schematic, detail design, and bid-packet development, including liaising with selected fabricators through installation.
Commercial experience in location-based entertainment across temporary, permanent, and touring projects.
