DESCRIPTION
Industrial Design Implementation Engineering (IDIE) is seeking an experienced Sr. Industrial Designer to join the Design Engineering team. Our team works on pilot building projects for Whole Foods, Amazon Fresh Fulfillment and Distribution Centers. We also provide support for existing network grocery projects. This individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining designs for buildings under the above business lines. This includes end to end design support for buildings from concept to execution, engineering existing sites for value and efficiency, and creating and maintaining drawing standards for multiple business lines. Drawings will require a high level of detail using various CAD programs. A successful candidate will be able to collaborate with internal and external teams to generate high quality, cost effective solutions with ambiguous guidelines. They will also be able work on multiple projects with various timelines while influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors.

COMPENSATION
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $51,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $124,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
