As an integral part of Once–Future’s team, the Project Manager’s primary responsibilities are in daily project and client management related to schedules, budgets, team/personnel/vendors, responsiveness, and client satisfaction. They are essential to a project’s success, managing internal teams, partners, and client communication to ensure that work is delivered at the highest quality, on time, and within budget in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The Project Manager also supports Once–Future’s overall short-and long-term goals and strategies, ensures that day-to-day operations of Once–Future are running smoothly and that, operationally and financially, we continue to evolve to accommodate future studio needs and changes. As time allows, they provide support on studio marketing and copywriting.

You

  • Extraordinarily organized, detail-oriented, and maintains a positive attitude.

  • Write elegantly, communicate clearly, and can win over even the toughest crowds.

  • Understand the creative process and how designers think (if you have both left and right brain skills, even better, but please note that this position is not a design role).

  • Graceful under pressure, yet comfortable with forging relationships and having hard conversations with clients and vendors.

  • A quick study who loves spreadsheets and technical knowledge.

  • Versatile, flexible, and willing to jump in to help get things done.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ year experience in a similar organizational role, ideally within a small to mid-size creative environment for graphic design, architecture, or environmental design.

  • Experience or interest in working with fabricators and vendors, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or project management tools.

  • Ability to multitask and deftly manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and people.

  • Creative strategy, marketing, and/or copywriting experience is a plus.

  • Benefits

    Salary Range
