About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Brooklyn Museum as a Project Architect/Planner. Brooklyn Museum is in the process of undertaking a building-wide program of renovation, construction and energy efficient modernization projects to align its physical environment with its vision for the future.
The Project Architect/Planner at the Brooklyn Museum will report to the Museum Architect and will participate in all phases of the planning, design and construction of capital projects. They will be responsible for providing support during the study, analysis, programming, design, presentation, staging, and construction for large capital projects. Additionally, they will have responsibility for documentation and implementation of smaller projects within the Museum.
Responsibilities:
Assist Museum Architect and the Capital Projects Executive in the design and execution of planning and construction projects, including: Programming and conceptual studies
