
Position Summary
The Program Director reports to the Executive Director, supervises the Program team, and has broad responsibility for the strategy and success of the League’s programs. These include ongoing series such as Current Work, Emerging Voices, the League Prize, Student Program, Mentorship Program, From Field to Form, and the Gunther Prize, as well as After Hours and other members-only programs. The Program Director additionally conceives of and directs new programs, as well as limited-run public programs on special topics, competitions, design studies, and publications, in consultation with the Executive Director and the Board of Directors. The Program Director also serves as a lead staff researcher on topics in contemporary architecture, as well as the practices, writers, consultants, and theorists shaping and advancing the discipline and practice.

Ongoing Programs
With staff support and in coordination with the Executive Director, the Program Director researches, directs, and manages all aspects of ongoing programs, including their conceptualization, the selection of participants, and programming expressed as events, competitions, and publications.
