You will join a collaborative multidisciplinary team of designers, engineers, software developers, scientists, and sales and marketing experts to design the future of the built environment.

Immediate impact:
-Apply your knowledge of Grasshopper, Rhino and current Arktura processes to create automation tools to improve the efficiency and accuracy of sales quotes, design drawings, and manufacturing files -Collect input from various teams to determine feasibility and direction of new tools as well as improvements to existing tools -Provide support on large scale and complex Solutions Studio projects by creating quick tools to aid specific design or manufacturing needs -Work with the team to organize, prioritize and bring to life script ideas -Develop custom components to achieve the above goals -Create and maintain training material to support new and current tools
Long Term:
-Teach other designers and engineers the basics of computational design -Develop best practices for script development and annotation -Help to build a team of competent designers to develop automation tools -Identify relevant fields of computational design to explore -Analyze company workflow to determine areas where efficiency and accuracy improvements can be made -Increase Arktura’s design capabilities by developing robust long-term tools to quickly iterate and conceptualize designs
Naturally, you have:
-Strong architecture/design background -Understanding of pattern generation and manipulation -Expertise with rhino and grasshopper, including custom components -Experience with programming languages such as Python, VB, or C# -A passion for efficiency -Organization, drive and a want to grow and learn
Any of these would be a plus-Experience with other programming languages -Experience in manufacturing setting
