Senior Architect - Danish Kurani (Remote)
Danish Kurani is seeking an experienced and talented Senior Architect to join our dynamic team on a freelance (contract) basis. As a key member of our design studio, you will lead the design process for complex architectural projects from concept through construction documentation.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor junior design staff in developing innovative and functional design solutions
Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and clients to understand project requirements and design intent
Prepare design concepts and presentations for clients and stakeholders
Oversee the production of construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details
Ensure design solutions meet building codes and zoning regulations
Coordinate with consultants and engineering teams to integrate various design disciplines
Maintain project schedules and budgets, and ensure design quality throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications:
Experience with ground up construction projects, permit sets, and construction details
Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
Excellent design skills, with a strong understanding of architectural principles and construction methods
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Effective communication and presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited program
