OVERVIEW
The candidate should be a senior level design professional who will lead the architectural design and project management process for ALO Special Projects, including but not limited to offices, experiential fit outs, wellness clubs, pop ups, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive the development and management of 5-10 projects per year of varying size and in varying locations around the globe, from project inception thru construction completion and occupancy.
Provide resources and develop partnerships in both new and existing markets, including project consultants, vendors, fabricators and GCs.
Lead the internal communication, coordination and management between internal stakeholders.
Manage teams to ensure the timely execution of all projects.
Develop project specific details and specifications as required.
Source, onboard and manage consultants on concept design (if relevant), design development, construction documents and construction administration, ensuring that all documents and deliverables meet Alo brand standards, architectural quality standards, landlord and project specific requirements.
Ensure designs meet Alo Brand Standards, established project timelines and project budgets.
Manage overall project budgets.
Manage overall project schedules.
Lead any required landlord communication as it relates to design guidelines, approvals and project start up.
Assist with real estate queries, reviews and pre-lease/lease negotiations related to design and construction.
Lead due diligence and feasibility on prospective projects.
Provide site analysis and test fits for potential projects.
Lead project bidding and GC selection process.
Manage communication around requests for information or issues that come up during the course of construction.
Review submittals and shop drawings for design conformance.
Provide on-site observations as required throughout the course of a project.
Lead project closeout and punchlist.
QUALIFICATIONS
Extensive architectural design and project management experience
Self starter and driven individual capable frequent of out of the box thinking
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of real estate and construction
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strategic thinking and the ability to align designs with company goals
Passion for design and a commitment to design excellence
Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Passionate, self-starting, intelligent, dedicated, efficient
Bachelor and/or Master's Degree in Architecture, or equivalent
Proficiency in Autocad, Sketchup/3D modeling software, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Excel and Project and GenAI platforms
The base salary range for this position is $180,000-$190,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
