To keep that momentum going strong, we’re on the hunt for a Motion Graphic Artist /Video Editor to create 2D graphics for our learning videos and help bring the ideas we’re teaching to life.
You Will:
Work with video production team to create 2D motion graphics for video content
Update videos for voice over and address feedback from production team
Participate in regular storyboarding exercises to visualize learning content
Attend and participate in daily or weekly projects and review meetings
Sketch and outline potential concepts for motion graphics in videos
Edit "longform motion graphic educational videos
Edit videos on feedback from Art Director or Production Team
Work on motion graphics for multiple videos at a time
Maintain up-to-date knowledge about motion graphics technologies and techniques
Be a supportive team member that will help to establish and grow the Black Spectacles brand
Specific types of content being design and animated are along the lines of objects and buildings: character modeling and animation is not required.
Requirements
Expert in After Effects
Expert in 2D animation and design
Experience with storyboards and visualizing complex concepts through design
Strong keyframing ability
Solid understanding of timing and spatial design
Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Experience with editing and Premier Pro
Ability to create, edit and maintain graphic assets
Ability to take constructive criticism and adjust design based on feedback provided
Architecture Design experience is a big plus
