We’re growing our team of passionate people who are reimagining the future of work. We're looking for a Lead Visual Designer to join our Brand Design team. You'll join 5 other designers, and will work closely with our Product, Research, Engineering, and Community teams to drive forward landing pages, microsites, launch videos, and other brand-related projects that convey the value of a platform built for independents.
How you’ll add value at Contra
Design and drive forward compelling marketing landing pages in Figma, collaborating closely with Engineering to ensure high quality implementation
Provide art direction and design support for quarterly launch videos, collaborating closely with our animation team
Provide art direction for external partner (freelancer & agency) brand projects, including:
Illustration, iconography, and 3d renders
Content marketing landing pages and microsites
Grow, maintain, and ensure consistency with our brand design guidelines
Continue to elevate Contra's design quality and execution
Mentor more junior designers with thoughtful feedback and guidance
Bonus: an interest in 3d and motion design
You’ll be successful here if you

Deliver transparent, honest, and direct feedback to your peers on an early-stage product
Enjoy participating in all parts of the strategic process, not just designing
Are located in a timezone within 3 hours of San Francisco
Are fluent in verbal and written English
