Lead Capital Budgets & Projects Planner-(250000TO)
TheUniversity of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB)is currently seeking aLeadCapital Budgets & Projects Plannerto join the Office of Real Estate, Planning, and Space Management.
The Lead Capital Budgets & Projects Planner will be expected to support the Office of Real Estate, Planning, and Space Management on planning projects aimed at addressing UMB’s deferred maintenance backlog, space deficiencies, and programmatic needs.
In particular, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the planning and scoping for medium and large capital projects. This includes working with private architecture and engineering firms to complete the necessary State of Maryland capital budget request documents. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with the Department of Budget and Management, the Department of Legislative Affairs, the Board of Regents, and the University System of Mayland’s central office to justify, explain, and elaborate on capital projects.
