Job Description:
Are you passionate about interior design and excited to be part of an innovative team? Boffi San Francisco is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Designer to join our new showroom. This role is perfect for someone with a solid foundation in interior design and a keen eye for aesthetics who wants to contribute to a premier design environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Assistance: Support the San Francisco showroom team with kitchen/bath/wall system planning and floor plan layouts, offering essential design expertise and creative input.
- AutoCAD Drafting: Create detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for furniture layouts and space planning, assisting with accurate and precise documentation.
- Client Engagement: Participate in client meetings alongside interior designers and architects, providing design recommendations and solutions.
- Material Selection: Help in choosing finishes and materials that align with client preferences and project needs.
- Site Visits: Accompany design associates on client site visits for assessments, conceptualization, and design validation.
- Documentation: Develop and manage spec sheets for products, ensuring comprehensive and organized documentation on digital platforms.
- Presentation Preparation: Create engaging PowerPoint presentations for product launches and sales meetings.
- Standards Improvement: Assist in reviewing and updating AutoCAD drawing standards to improve accuracy and workflow.
