Position Overview:
We are seeking a Game Designer (Experiences) to author quests for our 3D, open-world, educational MMO. This role involves creating engaging and educational quests that integrate curriculum content and enhance player retention. You will be responsible for designing the story and structure of quests, creating NPCs, authoring dialog, and developing simple puzzles. This is a remote role accepting applicants across the US, with Stemuli based in Dallas.
Responsibilities:
Design and document educational quests focused on curriculum
Create and document game world quests to enhance fun, engagement, and retention
Develop tutorial and career quests
Design the story and structure of quests
Create NPCs and author dialog
Conceive and design simple puzzles (e.g., locked doors, hidden items or NPCs)
