Space Center Houston is a space exploration learning destination dedicated to revealing how science and humanity power space exploration through meaningful, moving experiences about people and the courage, innovation, and teamwork they use to expand the boundaries of what's possible. We inspire guests of all ages to connect with the significance of space exploration as incredible feats of human spaceflight continue to bring joy and wonder to the world. Owned and operated by the nonprofit Manned Space Flight Education Foundation, we are the Official Visitor Center of NASA Johnson Space Center and a Smithsonian affiliate.
We are seeking a full-time Experience Graphic Designer responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing high-quality print and digital graphics for experiences and exhibitions at Space Center Houston. This includes creating production-ready files for both physical and digital displays that align with the organization’s brand guidelines. The designer ensures that all design projects enhance the overall experience. Through their work, the designer plays a key role in showcasing Space Center Houston as a premier destination and an employer of choice. Responsibilities and qualifications are shown below:

Salary:
$65K/yr - $70K/yr
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative attractive and engaging presentations (both internal and external) that clearly communicate design ideas and concepts.
Produce visually compelling, production-ready graphics for current and upcoming exhibits. The role requires a strong, creative proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), InDesign, PowerPoint, and other layout and publishing tools. Develop and concept graphic concepts to convey the organization’s messaging and brand strategy through design.
