Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a store design manager supporting our China mainland market. This role can be fully remote but must be available to collaborate with USA-based partners on Pacific Standard Time. This is a fast paced, design forward role, executing over 25 new store builds per year. Gain international experience in our largest growth market and build a resume with Fortune's #1 brand in Food & Beverage. Lead the development and implementation of the vision for Starbucks' brand, creative objectives, and design processes to enhance the Starbucks experience for the consumer, while innovating best-in-class, meaningful design. Job Duties Include:
Lead design efforts
Manage production of design documents
Coordinate / manage consultants
Act as the primary liaison with the construction, real estate, operations teams in China, and ensure close relationships are maintained
Requirements:
7 years’ experience managing projects and designers
Excellent at multi-tasking, understanding complex project details while moving teams and outcomes forward
Demonstrates a high level of initiative and proactiveness in mitigating risks and recognizing resolutions.
Preference for experience from design-focused firms
Licensure not required.
Communication skills to clients, consultants, and colleagues
