POSITION OVERVIEW
The Design Coordinator reports to the Director of Design & Technical Services. This position plays a critical role in managing the quality of the development and design process, while implementing Aman’s standards and brand objectives through a focus on superior design strategies and solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
A bachelor’s degree in design or architecture is required
Eligibility to work in United States
Minimum 2 years of professional experience as an architectural or interior designer, design coordinator or in a related role
Familiarity with aspects of luxury hotel and resort project delivery. Design & Technical Services background with luxury hotel operator preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in written and spoken English, additional languages desirable
Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and cultural sensitivity
Familiarity and interest in office management systems and procedures
Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of Bluebeam Revu desirable
Strong organizational abilities to multitask and prioritize daily workload efficiently
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and efficient transmission of instructions, feedback, vision and understanding of broader project team members’ needs
