You are:
An experienced designer, with at least 3 years of experience working in graphic design. You’re a fast learner with an aptitude for design mentorship, creative career development, and community engagement—both online and off. An innovative go-getter, you enjoy building relationships, mentoring and exploring creative initiatives and collaborations across the US.
Passionate about working within the design community of NYC and educating the next generation of designers
Tech savvy and curious about learning new technologies and tools with a knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite & Figma
Familiar with web design platforms & basic knowledge of code- experience in working with the Wix Classic editor and Editor X is an advantage
A conceptual thinker, sensitive to details and aesthetics, exceptional with layout and typography
A great communicator that can give constructive critique and feedback to students

As a Playground community lead you will:
Create educational content and lead workshops and events related to web design
Mentor educational programs run by Wix Playground Academy for creative growth
Take an active part in the graphic design community in NYC to grow connections, collaborations and partnerships
Be the face of Wix Playground though participating and leading design events, panels & interviews
Grow an online community of designers by creating original content and initiating events
Approximate base compensation: $ 88,000-$100,000. In addition to base pay you will receive company RSUs as part of the compensation package. Final package may vary and will be determined by various factors including location the role is expected to be performed, shift, candidate profile and ideal qualifications.
