Job Overview

 

Internship position within Design Center at Daimler Trucks North America in which we create innovative solutions through products and services For All Who Keep the World Moving.

Responsibilities

The Internship will involve working on Design Center projects for new product development. The person in this role will produce concept sketches of future truck designs, for both exteriors and interiors.

  • Creating sketch concepts for future truck designs

  • Contributing to daily design discussions and weekly review

  • Working cross-functionality with the other Design Center employees to understand the design process

  • Preparing design reviews and presentations for Design Management

Qualifications

Must be participating in a Bachelor's Program or higher (or have graduated within the past 12 months)

Target Major

Transportation Design or Industrial Design

 

Basic Qualifications & Required Skills

• Recent graduate with degree in Transportation Design or Industrial Design
• High level of concept sketching ability
• Ability to collaborate and work well with others required
• GPA of 3.0 or higher required
• Attached resume and portfolio required
 

Preferred Skills

• Previous intern/work experience preferred
• Knowledge of Alias software preferred
• Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal preferred
