Salary

$80,000/yr

Role Description

This position will support the creative team with creative ideation/conceptualization as well as architectural and spatial design. This position is also integral to the production team and will work very closely with them to ensure creative vision and continuity carries through the event.

The position entails a need for impeccable attention to detail and excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to multi-task on a variety of projects simultaneously. In addition, excellent client skills in presentation and a sense of urgency when working with clients and internal departments is key.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Support Lead Designer and Creative Director with all projects

· 3D concept visualiser

· Proficient drafting skills required for the design and production of innovative and exclusive events, in addition to knowledge of materials

· The successful candidate will be responsible for translating the Creative Director’s vision into detailed mood boards, floorplans and 3D renders as well as for generating all of the technical specifics for suppliers (particularly staging and set build).

Qualifications:

· 2-4 years experience in creative conceptualization, architectural and spatial design.

· Fully competent in the solo use and production of DWG’s or similar and have a fully developed knowledge of a rendering package.

· Preferred software includes SketchUp, Rhino, Autodesk AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Vray and Enscape.

· Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while working under tight deadlines and time pressures.

· High proficiency starting and developing mood boards in alignment with client and creative director briefs.

· Ability to develop experiential concepts for a Lead Designer creative to translate concepts into visual imagery, renders and technical drawings.

· Experience in a similar role is required.

· Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.

· Adaptable and agile: Ability to adjust your working style to the needs of the people around you (internal and external).

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

· Solid decision-making skills and solution-oriented

· Ability to manage multiple, and sometimes competing tasks in a positive and self-directed manner.

· Ability to work well under pressure.

· Ability to work independently or as a member of a team in a fast paced, time-sensitive environment.

· Willing and able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

· Must be able to travel.

· Excellent proofreading and communication skills, both written and verbal

· Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone/zoom, with a high level of professionalism and strong client/customer service mindset.

· Highly proficient in Mac OS, Excel, Word, Keynote, OneDrive and Outlook

· Positive and upbeat personality!
