Summary of Position

NVE is currently seeking an experienced Creative Director to drive the creative ideation, development, and day to day creative execution for several global spirits brands. The Creative Director will work closely with the GCD and the CCO to set the creative vision for their group of brands and the business more broadly.

Our next Creative Director is an innovator, a storyteller, a communicator and culturally connected. They have experience in the spirits category including work that makes us envious. They are deeply curious about the intersection of culture and design and how it impacts consumer behavior. They are ahead of trends in architecture, branding, music, fashion, art, and tech. They are a leader, a team player, a mentor, and a downright overachiever. They want to change the world and the role our brands play in it.

Role Priorities

  • Leadership: Provide oversight for your project teams, mentor your direct reports, and help to set a visionary tone for the account and the agency in all that you do. Keep an impeccable commitment to the creative practice and help to maintain systems and practices that allow the entire team to follow the example you set.

  • Creative Vision: Drive the conceptual development of breakthrough, industry-changing ideas. . Study the trends and have an almost sixth sense of the future spaces where our clients will succeed.

Collaboration:Work closely with the account director to lead by example. Drive and champion collaboration with fellow creative and design team members, account managers, strategists, producers, and other departments, driving for cohesive creative vision and alignment for greater teams as assigned that deliver against the project brief, timeline, and budget.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direction and oversight throughout the project's duration, driving continued creative cohesion and impact of all elements.

  • Ensure final outputs uphold concept standards that achieve client expectations and are fiscally appropriate based on size and scope.

  • Be an active and respected voice within the broader integrated agency team.

  • Manage 1+ individuals within the NVE Creative Department.

  • Utilize creatives, designers, and artists to their fullest potential by guiding the creative process, removing barriers, and providing real-time constructive feedback.

  • Champion a culture of engaged high-performing teams rooted in autonomy, accountability, trust, and respect.

  • Live and breathe the cultures in which our Spirits brands activate.

  • Be not just a consumer, but a genuine lover of the art, music, design, and talent that provide the pulse of our workspace.

  • Study the trends and have an almost sixth sense of the future spaces where our clients will succeed.

  • Grow client relationships through the development of creative trust.

  • Manifest through verbal, written and visual communications, client presentations, and onsite presence.

  • Identify account creative growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years’ experience as a creative including specific experience in the spirits category.

  • Experience leading conceptual and creative development across multiple brands and projects.

  • A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

  • In depth knowledge of integrated campaign structure and components inclusive of, but not limited to, experiential design, content, social, partnerships and interactive.

  • Ability to work and thrive as a member of a team in a fast-paced creative deadline driven environment with multiple projects.

  • Passion for leading in a remote environment.

  • Proficiency in industry software.

  • A willingness to approach every endeavor with grit and grace – the Polished Hustle, as we call it.

Location:

We are a hybrid company with hub locations in Los Angeles and New York City. The ideal candidate is located in New York City, however, we will consider remote candidates for this role.

Salary Estimation:

This is an Exempt full-time role. NVE intends to provide a competitive total compensation package which includes a variety of incentives, benefits, growth and developmental opportunities. The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $165,000. There are many factors to the presented salary range, including but not limited to - location, departmental budgets, certifications, and overall job-related qualifications.
