Computation Design and 3D Modeling Specialist - Mortenson (Minneapolis, MN)
Summary Mortenson is currently seeking an Integrated Construction Coordinator II or Senior Integration Construction Coordinator (position will be determined based on the applicants’ qualifications) to join our Solar Group in either our Minneapolis Headquarters, regional office, or fully remote. This role will partner and support our team to provide 3D modeling creation and automation using computational design techniques including parametric modeling.
You will be joining a rapidly growing Solar VDC Integration team that has grown from 2 to 13 team members in the past 4 years. We are a dynamic group focused on continuous learning and ever evolving innovation. We are looking for an innovator at heart and someone who is always looking to learn new technology. Excellent communication skills are necessary as you will interact with staff at all levels in a consistently changing environment.
Demonstrating the ability to be flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with a high level of integrity and confidentiality will be vital for your success. Strong planning and organization skills are critical for completing your tasks. Ideal candidate can proficiently utilize Revit, Civil 3D, Dynamo, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and Navisworks.

Additional experience with Python, Grasshopper, Rhino, and Revitzo is preferred. An added plus is a passion for drones / scanning technologies, and 4D schedule modeling experience.
