Job Description
The Architectural Designer - Façade Design & Special Projects is responsible for executing multiple projects (bespoke and institutional facades, as well as special architecture projects) and is responsible for conceptual design through a creative approach, design development, project reviews, project communications, quality and design control, scheduling, and project reporting. This individual must be creative, technical and with a project management attitude, detailed oriented and have the ability to develop design concepts within the Tiffany and Company standards.
Key Accountabilities
Develop and refine elevated design concepts based on the creative direction from Senior Management.
Build strategic and elevated design for the retail environment that upholds and maintains the essence of the brand while ensuring its image consistency worldwide and continue fostering the brand’s recognizability.
Develop creative strategies and design directions/briefs to execute facades and new concepts for store interiors that build upon Tiffany’s core values and strengthen its culture / brand image.
Responsible for researching trends, competitors, innovative materials that can be applied to projects through mood boards, target analysis, competition research.
Participate in design conversation with Architects firms, consultants, and vendors, from the concept phase to the construction development.
Material research and sample boards.
Participate to conversation with all external consultants, including Architect Firms, GCs, vendors, and Local Architects.
Follow up with consultants, answering Requests for Information (RFIs).
