Project Manager, Store Development - Christian Louboutin (NYC, NY)

Overview: Based in the New York City office, the Project Manager of Store Development is responsible for the management of store planning projects for freestanding retail stores, shop-in-shops, and occasional pop-ups. This role focuses on the proper execution of projects as designed by the Global Architecture Department to consistently represent the brand within the luxury market. The Project Manager will report to the VP of Store Development to ensure oversight for all construction related costs and confirm they meet approved capital expenditure budgets and internal schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day to day project management of assigned construction projects, including coordination between key consultants, contractors, and Global Architecture team, to ensure that projects are on time, on budget, and adhere to brand standards

  • Coordinate all architectural and construction activities for assigned projects

  • Provide oversight for display fabrication and assure that displays meet established brand standards

  • Ensure the proper ordering of brand supplied items through approved vendors and partner with logistics teams to coordinate timely delivery to site

  • Communicate design and schedule updates for assigned projects to all necessary departments

  • Review all construction cost estimates with Project Director, negotiate with vendors, and work closely with accounting department to ensure all construction and renovation budgets are up to date and accurate

  • Partner with Retail Operations Team to coordinate opening schedule for new projects

  • Manage the consolidation and completion of punch lists between the brand, boutique personnel, and architects

  • Coordinate with contractors for maintenance items in first year following boutique openings

  • Maintain up to date project records and archives

  • Partner with team leads for Operations, Visual Merchandising, Retail Maintenance and Repairs to ensure all aspects of handover clearly addressed

  • Frequent travel to project sites and fabricator workshops


Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in store design project coordination/management, or similar role

  • Strong knowledge of store planning and construction methods

  • Fluent in AutoCAD and Adobe CS, rendering ability is a plus

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks

  • Exceptional customer service skills along with transparent and effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Passion for Christian Louboutin and a true ambassador for the brand with strong sense of responsibility

  • Ideal candidate has work experience in medium sized multinational company or luxury business.

  • Additional language fluency is a plus

In accordance with the New York City Commission on Human Rights and in compliance with the Salary Transparency Law, Christian Louboutin envisions the general compensation range for this position to be $100,000- $120,000 per YEAR. *This range is NOT inclusive of other forms of compensation or benefits such as commissions, overtime, discretionary bonus, health insurance, retirement savings or paid leaves of absence.
