The Role
This is a unique opportunity to work in a fun and challenging role using cutting edge technology within a 3 year-old, funded startup. As an Account Manager you will oversee a number of customer accounts and be responsible for the day-to-day management of customer needs, while actively seeking new inside-sales opportunities. You will engage directly with the customer to get a better understanding of their mission, goals, challenges, and requirements and determine the best way for CANOA to respond to those needs. You will have an emphasis on long-term relationship building with clients and actively will help to grow our business. As part of your role, you will also lead an account team and collaborate cross functionally with other internal groups to help achieve strategic goals for our company.

Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for your assigned accounts
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with our customers
Develop trusted-advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of CANOA's products and services according to customer needs and objectives
Maintain account-specific reports and account health dashboards for internal and external communication
Develop new business with existing customers and identify areas of improvement within our current account management process
Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities
Collaborate with other Account Managers in the continued improvement of the account management process
Ability to lead a cross-functional team of creative, procurement and logistics team members in the service of your accounts

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Architecture, Interior Design, Product Management or Product Design or design related field
Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or equivalent role within a product company in the Design, Workplace or Furniture industries
Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
Strong critical thinking skills and a passion for solving problems
Strong knowledge of workplace strategy & spatial relationships
Excellent project management skills
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with computer assisted drafting tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino)
Willingness to travel to meet with customers or visit projects (Please note: We are a sensible team and put safety first. We would never ask a team member to engage in an in-person meeting if they did not feel comfortable due to health & safety concerns)
Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot) as well as GSuite and Airtable
Passionate and curious about the built environment. Maintain a desire for knowledge about all aspects of what we do and look for ways to contribute your knowledge and learn from others

About Our Work Environment
We are a fully remote company with team members in Europe, USA and Argentina, and this is a remote job. We’re primarily operating in the Eastern Standard Time time zone and we are happy to hire someone with a 4h overlap with the traditional 9-5 working pattern with the GMT-5 time zone, beyond that we are flexible to work with your personal life constraints.
