Experience Designer Intern - Autodesk (San Fransisco, CA)
As a User Experience Designer Intern, you will help bring our customers’ workflows to life as their industries undergo digital transformation. You will provide the tools to change how our customers work, by automating tedious workflows, and collaborating across company boundaries.

In this position you will be building experiences across many interfaces – desktop, web, and mobile – as well as API, SDK, and low-code touchpoints. You will dive deep into a technical understanding of platform customer needs, get ahead of technological trends that are reshaping industries.

Responsibilities
Conduct and synthesize customer research to derive insights for innovation
Develop technical personas (i.e., low-code, front and back-end developers)
Produce graphics, and technical artifacts required for product development
Sketch low fidelity mock-ups to evaluate alternate designs in collaborative sessions
Provide visual and clickable prototypes and rapidly iterate based on customer feedback
Assist in the design of product analytics that measure usage and usability
Partner with development teams to review feature implementation
Collaborate with product management to communicate your ideas
Minimum Qualifications
Students must be a full-time student, pursuing a BS, MS or PhD in user experience design, human-computer interaction, information science, data science, or a related field.
Students must be actively enrolled in a degree granting academic institution or accredited boot camp at the time of internship.
Students must reside and be attending university in the country where the internship is being offered.
Students must have previous experience with effectively conducting user research and designing user experiences.
Familiarity with Software Development a plus.
Familiarity with AEC or MFG industries a plus.
About the US Intern Program
The 2023 U.S. program runs for 12 weeks (May 22 – August 11 or June 12 – September 1) and will be remote (subject to change). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, work alongside peers from universities all over the country and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development.
