Consultant at Sports, Media & Entertainment

Specialty areas:

Experience Design, AEC Tech & Consulting/Entrepreneurship - US & Global Candidates

Chi has designed venues, advised on commercial strategy, and more recently focused on using technology to unlock value across sport, media and entertainment. His career has evolved across multiple disciplines, with his architectural expertise expanding into broader creative work across brand, user research, visual design, motion design and content production.

Chi's architectural experience is global, with a focus on venues within larger mixed-use districts. His work integrated master planning, enclosure design/engineering via computational workflows & premium hospitality. During his eight years with HKS, he was part of the design team for SoFi Stadium, helped integrate strategic advisory services with design, and contributed to developing a new immersive technology Location Based Experience (LBE) concept called Cosm.

Chi's interest in technology led him to OnePlan, a digital twin SaaS startup, where he held a product strategy and growth role building digital products for events and venues globally - including the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. He now advises clients, mainly Tottenham Hotspur FC, helping integrate new technologies into their digital and physical experiences, moving from designing spaces to advising on technology integration, user experience & commercialisation.

As a career advisor for Out of Architecture (OOA), Chi works with mid-senior professionals to help them reframe their experience for paths across: experience design, technology (AEC Tech), consulting or transitioning to client-side roles.

Chi holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a minor in Business from USC. He has lived in Delhi, Singapore, Los Angeles, and now calls London home. He enjoys football, tennis, exploring new food and the art of storytelling through film and television.
